While on a late summer outing with the grand kids we spent a few days in Port Aransas, Texas just ahead of hurricane Harvey! I've always wanted a shot looking down the underside of a pier with beautiful waves crashing the beach. This particular pier was looking ESE so I thought I might get a nice sunrise in the opening at the end of the pier. That shot was a little disappointing so I went for a shot that included the pier with the sunrise. Serendipity smiled on me and provided some nice reflections and a few birds to complete the scene.
