I thought this was a photographer's worst nightmare: clouds move in front of spectacular light on the peaks at the last possible minute. But a second look and I'm glad it happened-the scene was wild, and it was magnificent to witness. The clouds just add to the wildness. I'm just glad I was standing there with a camera when it all came together. Taken with a Canon 5D MkIII, 24-105mm lens, tripod, polarizer. Settings: ISO 100, 1/4 sec, f14, 24mm.
