This is a photo I took today at Congaree National Park near Columbia, SC. After taking this, a fellow hiker warned me about a Cottonmouth snake that had just shown him its fangs. I quickly packed up and headed home!

I shot this on my Canon T3i with an EFS 55-250mm zoom lens. Exposure was f/5.6 at 1/30 sec and ISO 100.
