This was the first day I had my brand new D-90 out. I was shooting some ordinary shots of ice covered Lake Erie. I happened to look down an embankment and saw this tree at the edge of the water. It looked like it was struggling to grow towards the sun. I took the shot from the top of the embankment and got this wonderful photo.
