Lightning strike among the Saguaro Cacti in the Tucson desert. I was just outside the Saguaro National Park West Boundary; shooting into the direction of the park at sunset. I was not planning on shooting any lightning and didn't know there was any going on when I left my house to mail a letter at the mailbox. I had my camera, figuring it was near sunset and if it was a decent one I'd snap a pic or 2. As I got to the main road a mile from my house and looked north; I noticed the lightning taking place and headed that direction and pulled off to the side of the road and was taking 3 sec exposures with the camera balanced against the steering wheel as I realized I had both tripods at home....
