This famous nickname (Stonewall) was first given to Jackson by General Bernard Bee on the battlefield at First Manassas on July 21, 1861. Bernard Bee shouted: Look! There is Jackson standing like a Stonewall! Let us determine to die here today and we will conquer, Rally behind the Virginians! I used the light pollution from the city to help create this nice glow around the General Jackson Stature at 5 am.
