Stonehenge, a World Heritage Site, inspires the imagination. What was its purpose and how it was constructed are questions whose answers are only guessed at. I created this composite image (from both film and digital files) to try to convey a sense of mystery and spirituality.
Photographer: Dan Friedman
Camera (Film): Olympus OM-1, Lens: Zuiko 28mm f/2.8
Camera (Digital): Canon T1i, Lens: Canon 17-85mm
Film: Kodachrome 64
Exposure: Multiple exposures
The film image was scanned on a Minolta DiMage Scan Elite 5400 and the composite image was produced in Photoshop using multiple layers and masks. It was converted to black & white using OnOne Perfect BW.
