Downtown MPLS is behind me. The bridge in the foreground is the Stone Arch Bridge and the blue one is the new 35W Bridge built to replace the one that horrifically fell into the Mississippi River during rush hour on August 1, 2007. I was 100 yards away waiting in traffic to cross the river when it fell. I was very lucky. Many others were not. 13 people died.
