The southern late summer sky is an interesting place to spend time with at night. The star trails exhibit a very different design than to the north where they rotate around Polaris. Here the rotation shows a split (crossroad) where below the horizon would be the southern 'Polaris-like' point and above the area captured would be towards Polaris. The mass density of the lines showcases the complexity of the Milkyway core in movement. Canon R8, Rokinon 14mm, f2.8, iso1600, 30sec exposures over 60 minutes. @epp.hans
