I lived in the Wood River Valley in Idaho for many years and many times took the hour drive to the Sawtooth Mountains and camped at Stanley Lake. The rich blue color of the sky and the beginnings of thunderheads reflected in the cool, clear water of the lake was always a favorite scene for me to photograph.
