Interested in trying Focus Stacking, I took 15 exposures--all at 0.8 seconds at f/8, ISO 50, with a Canon 6D and Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens--each focused a few millimeters apart on a "perfect" Spring daffodil taken from our front garden. I used Helicon software to stack the 15 images and achieve a completely sharp image with a depth-of-field unachievable without a tripod (my Vanguard Alta Pro 283CT tripod with Vanguard SBH-250 head) and focus stacking software.
