I found this scene a few feet from my garage. My local squirrels (of which there are many) clearly thought this stump a comfortable place to sit and devour the spruce cones. The discarded debris makes for a messy but intriguing visual. The picture was created using a Canon 5D with a Canon 35mm F2 IS USM lens. The exposure was 1/125sec. at F/5.6.
