In Glacier National Park, many stands of burnt forests can be found. At first glance these charred and dead trees may appear as a tragic sight. But upon closer inspection and reflection, many of these forest fires are natural events critical to their ecosystems. And, as the mountain bluebird in the center reminds us, spring always comes again with new life. Nikon D7100, 1/100 s, f/8, ISO 400, 140 mm, Nikon 18-140mm/ f.3.5-5.6.
