By eliminating fine detail and altering tonal levels, the dense spring foliage and twisting branches of a Valley Oak tree yielded an image with an impressionistic flavor. The original photo was taken with a Nikon D600 with a Tamron 28-200 mm lens at 28 mm. The exposure was f/11 and 1/80 sec.
