They say you shoot with the camera you've got. This one was a quick-fire shot on the 4x4 beach of North Carolina's Outer Banks. I was in my chair, beer in hand, watching the waves of the Atlantic hit the shore, when a small herd of horses -- descendants of the original mustangs brought ashore by Spanish explorers -- thundered down from the dunes. I caught the last of them as they retreated back to the shade behind the dunes. (Shot with an iPhone 4 in the middle of the day)
