I wanted to experiment with vertical panning. I got out my old (first) DSLR Sony a100 w/Minolta 50mm 1.4 lens to capture this image, testing the adage, 'It's not the camera, but the photographer', if it is true. I used a slow shutter speed (approx. 1/15 sec.) while panning vertically up and down. I then darkened the image using 'Smart Photo Editor.'
