A recent winter storm took the Birmingham Alabama area by surprise, and subsequently, many folks became stranded due to the roads being impassable due to the snow and ice. I was fortunate to make it home, and took advantage of the situation to talk a morning stroll with my camera.

I pass by this horse farm every day going to and from work, and enjoyed the opportunity to capture this moment.
