On a foggy morning walking the edge of a coastal pond I noticed this Snowy Egret feeding on the edge of the water. It's brightly colored foot tapping the sandy bottom scaring up food. The foggy conditions diffused the sun light and the calm weather conditions allowed for a nice reflection of the bird.
The image was made with a Nikon D300 with a Nikon 80-400 AFS VR set at 230mm. The camera was set at ASA 400, f/13 and 1/250.
