While visiting Sydney, Australia for business in the late winter, I spent some free time walking around near Lavender Bay on the north side of the harbor. I was enjoying all the Spring-like color of blooming flowers when I found this small bird on an interesting flower. I shot the photo with a Sigma 18-300 zoom mounted to my Canon EOS 80D, ISO 250, f/6.3, 1/400 sec., at 300 mm. I did no significant post processing, only applying lens corrections in Lightroom Classic CC before exporting the RAW file to JPG.
