So many ask me why I spend hours at the Zoo, or even outdoors, sometimes just with one animal for over an hour. Well folks, this is why!! Very crowded day at the Zoo, and lots of obstacles like glass windows, plants in the way, fences, and of course cell phones, kids and others.... but persistence and patience pays off... this is THE shot I wanted today, and well you never know what animals will do. Baby Whimsie, born 2016, was very funny and very active, even imitating her parents by beating on her chest! That was funny! Well through the fence, she finally sat still, and I was just at the right place, at the right time, waiting for her to turn her head just once. Great light today, beautiful sunshine, and she was so much fun to watch!! And all the while, I just didn't think anything would top my polar bears adventure today, over an hour with them too!!!
