I have driven through this valley more times than I can remember going to one of my favorite locations to shoot, but never really photographed it because of the power lines that run right down the middle of it. No matter where you go, you can't get away from including the lines in your shot. On this night, however, I ran out of time going to my prime location, and decided to just roll with the punches. I'm glad I did. Despite the power lines being visible in this shot taken in the Hualapai Valley of northwest Arizona, it's fast becoming one of my favorite images.
