I seem to have the most interesting luck with rain. I leave when it's perfectly clear out, and when I reach the middle of the field, that ONE cloud decides to open up overhead. I dashed for cover under some overgrown shrubs nearby, and it just so happened I wasn't the only one making my escape. I got as close as I dared (I had only brought my 25mm prime with me), took my shots, and waited out the passing downpour with my green, croaking sidekick.
