I was hidden in tall grass along the Wisconsin River waiting for the evening inward migration of Sandhill Cranes. They rest on sandbars in the river where they are safe from predators. This was taken with my Canon 5D and 80-200mm f 2.8 lens on a tripod. Settings were f2.8, 1/10th second at ISO 100 with the lens zoomed out to 200mm.
