I travelled home to Southern New Jersey to meet some friends. I had a few hours to kill and decided to pack my camera and take some photos of the sunset at Cape May. NJ. The sun would set nearly directly over the lighthouse and I thought it would make a great image. Unfortunately, some bad weather came in, the sky was overcast, and I missed the shot I was hoping to get. I didn't want my efforts go to waste so I still snapped some images and with some editing in Lightroom, was able to salvage an otherwise ruined opportunity.

Tripod mounted Sony A7Rii, with Sony 90mm F/2.8 Macro G, F/20, 1/13th sec, at ISO 50. Edited in Lightroom to monochrome.
