For a wide field of vision, a burrowing owl rotates its head up to 270 degrees. This owl has to turn its head in order to move its eyes – the eyes cannot rotate independently. Captured with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II with a Canon 100-400mm lens, f/5.6, 1/2000, ISO 2000.
