This photo was shot in 2016 in a little park in Ocean City Maryland. It was shot on Kodak TriX 400iso film on a vintage British-made Microcord twin lens reflex camera (they were made as a knockoff of the Rolleicord I believe) I believe the settings were F11 and 1/100 second.
I had just turned 50 and I decided that rather than a big celebration I wanted quiet birthday in a favorite spot with my wife and dog, and of course this involved taking some pictures with on of my favorite vintage camera. I have plenty of modern gear, like a Nikon D700, but I find that when I return from a trip, the best shots are often the ones I did non medium frmat film. Something about having only 8-12 shots on a roll really concentrates th emind and forces me to pay close attention to composition and settings before pressing that button.
