Roosevelt Island is a park in the Potomac River near Georgetown in Washington, DC. It is an unspoiled nature preserve in the middle of a bustling, urban city. On a damp, drizzly day I decided to visit and shot some autumn images. This shot was taken on a raised walkway through a marsh that covers the middle of the island.
