Every year my small town has a bicycle ride through the mountains of North Georgia...a total of over 100 miles up and down. I usually photograph the ride and this year some new techniques. I slowed the shutter as much as possible and panned with the subjects...sometimes just a bit and sometimes a lot. I think it give the illusion of speed. And B&W was more dramatic than color. I used my 80-200 Nikkor zoom on a D-700, opened in CS-2 with Nik filters for effect.
