I photographed this Male Ring-necked Duck at Dawson Creek Park in Hillsboro, Oregon on a cold January morning. I was especially attracted to the wonderful reflection of the duck in the gold-hued water. I used a Nikon D 7100 with a Tamron Zoom Lens (150-600 mm.) attached to a Wimberly Head and Manfrotto Tripod. The ISO was 1250, F/6.3, 1/400th second exposure, and a Focal Length of 600 mm.
