The horse has long been a best friend to man. I converted this image to black and white in an attempt to simplify it and draw more focus on the mutual respect between the two subjects. Shot with a Nikon D610 at an ISO of 200. Shutter speed 1/800 and f8. The man and horse were standing in a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark area. No post edits were applied.
