This was shot at the Blue Ridge Parkway's lowest point, the James River Visitor's Center Bridge. I shot this at sunset with a Nikon D7000 with no filter.

The sun is not setting in this image, in fact if you were shooting the sunset, this would be behind you. When ever you are shooting a sunset, don't forget to look behind you. It can be better than whats in front of you.
