This was taken at Meteer Lake in Pine Knob Park, Howe, Indiana. The lake is only a mile or so from home, so when I woke up and saw deep red on the horizon I hopped in the truck with my camera and parked on the boat ramp. Over the next 40 minutes I took dozens of photos as the sky evolved and changed and cast its reflection across the water. I used my Sony a6500 with the Sony 18-105mm f/4 G at 18mm. ISO 400, 1/160 sec at f/6.3. I made minor edits in Lightroom and Photoshop.
