Red Mountain Pass is located South of Ouray, CO. Crystal Lake is just North of the pass. While I have been on this road numerous times I have never seen it when the wind was not blowing hard. This particular morning, it stayed calm for several hours. There were a serious number of photographers around the lake enjoying it.
