I was walking through a nature trail in Rowlett, Texas in the afternoon on an overcast cloudy day.
I used a Nikon D700 camera with a Sigma 150mm to 600mm zoom lens. The settings were as follows: f6.3, Shutter speed 1/800 sec, ISO 800 and zoomed to 600mm.
This is a Red-bellied Woodpecker and if you find bushes with these berries and just be patient a bird will come by and get a snack.
