Photographed one of my granddaughters in the Minam River Canyon in Oregon. This afternoon shoot is part of a two year ballerina project set for exhibit in July. We brought an umbrella in case it rained so her hair and makeup would remain intact. We missed the rain but I liked the umbrella.

I love working with Dedra. Every time I photograph her I'm amazed how quickly she got from toddler to young woman. Or perhaps how quickly I've reached the Golden Years. One or the other.
