A desaturated B&W version of the Queen Palm Detail of the seed/berries branch. The bulge seen on the left is the base of the next frond to dry and fall, showing another seed branch like the one shown. Happens about eight times a year. In monochrome, it takes on a much different perspective and impact. Taken with a Canon T3i and Canon 80-200mm f4 L zoom at about 100mm. 1/64, f8-11, hand held with IS.
