This is a palm tree commonly referred to as a Queen Palm in Mexico. As a frond dies and falls off the trunk, a mop-like branch is left with all the berries and seed. This happens about eight times a year. Right after the frond falls, the inside is very colorful before it dries in the sun and turns brown, losing all its berries in the process.
I particularly like the combination of textures of the trunk rings, frond base and seed branch.
