This towering Prunus Africana tree stands proud, adorned with moss that clings to its uniquely textured bark. The picture was taken in the feature-rich Eburu Forest Reserve, one of my favourite hiking destinations. Found in Nakuru County, Kenya, this Afro-montane forest is replete with superb hiking trails that start at a lofty 8,000 feet and above.
