This is my favorite portrait I got to take at the Cumberland Gap National Historic Parks Centennial Event. She was very natural and very innocent looking, their was an overall calmness she portrayed and looking at her you could tell she had a story to tell. She was dressed in period correct clothing for the event and most all of the rein-actors camped out at the visitors center lawn just liked they would of when Daniel Boone came through the Cumberland Gap. To some this is more than a reenactment, it's a way of life and when you are taking these portraits, they need to feel as if it is the way they live every single day.
