Taken in our backyard, I am fortunate that my wife is an avid gardener!
I take many pictures of various flowers in bloom during the year and the use of "bokeh" or shallow depth of field is vary important. Many of the flowers are close to the ground or they are located near something that would be a detraction if it was in focus. Also, sometimes the color combinations of the background ground work well out of focus. We had this picture printed on canvas and it looks as if it was a painting.
