Food does not originate in a store. It has a long way to get there, which is not an obvious fact for many people.
In the summer of 2010 my family was walking on the streets of a small village in Transylvania, when we suddenly noticed this scene in front of a house. We stopped to watch the events. After getting over the shock (which took longer for my almost 6 year old daughter), we experienced the friendliness of this family as well as their homemade brandy (pálinka). It was an experience we will never forget.
