"On a Pedestal:" I returned to Sedona to try to capture the full moon rising above Cathedral Rocks. My app said that it would rise directly over a certain pillar and when it finally did rise, I saw that my app (or user error) was a few degrees off. I was on a hilltop and surrounded by trees/bushes (and cacti!), and had to scramble and try to find a different location to capture it in time to at least align with some of the vertical portion of rocks. I wanted it to look like the moon was on a pedestal. Plan B had to work for me this evening!(single, non-composite image taken with Nikon D810 and 70-200 lens at 170mm, f/7.1, 1/80 second, ISO 64 and Manfrotto tripod with Really Right Stuff ballhead.
