This shot of Upper Cathedral Lake in Yosemite National Park will always be special to me. My Mom and I made the hike together to celebrate her 70th birthday. She was having a rough time acclimating to the attitude and probably would've turned around had she been by herself. But she knew how important it was for me to get this shot so she worked through it like a total champ.
