This was shot in Patrick's Point State Park, which is located about 4 miles north of the city of Trinidad on the northern coast of California. The scene revealed itself on a 2004 fall morning as the sun was breaking through the forest. Didn't have a DSLR yet and was shooting with a Minolta A2 Dimage prosumer digital camera. Camera settings (focus and exposure) were set manually. The camera was mounted on a Gitzo Tripod, Linhof Profi-2 Ball head and a Really Right Stuff Pano Clamp. The final image was made up of 6 exposures, stitched together manually in Photoshop CS2.
