On an afternoon drive through the Rocky Mountain Arsenal in Colorado, I noticed movement in the nook of this tree. Strong cold winds blowing, and upon closer look just saw those big yellow eyes. I observed this beautiful Great Horned Owl for about 20-30 minutes. Not once moving, it was just hunkered down in the V of the branches, soaking up the sun.
