Paulo, it is a Sigma 180mm macro lens - i took the photo from about 10'away, 1/40s, f 3.5 ISO 400. i also did a "high pass filter" in photoshop CS2 to bring out some of the details better

Wonderful shot of this orchid. It's that time of year for all the blooms to show thier glory.
You've made a previous comment on my images, but I can't remember which gallery.

Wow. Great shots. Color and details are so vivid. What lens and aperture/shutter speed did you use to capture such a beautiful image?
