I was driving around the Skagit Valley just outside of LaConnor, WA on a very cold and dreary day, hoping to find something interesting to shoot. It was one of those days where nothing was inspiring - just grey, grey and more grey, along with bone-chilling rain and foggy car windows. Just when I was about to throw in the towel and head into LaConnor for a cup of coffee, I rounded the bend and found this gorgeous red barn with a cockeyed white- spackled door. The Rain Gods of Seattle were shining upon me that day after all. Shot with my trusty and beloved Canon Powershot SX20 IS.
