This photo was taken by a Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon 24-205 MM f4/L IS lens set at 34 MM. Camera was set to 1/250 second at f/8.0. Photo was processed in Lightroom 5.2 and conversion to black and white was done in Silver Efex Pro 2.
The photo was taken on County Road 5 near Fraser, Colorado. The building was built in the early 1900's along a stage coach route between Berthoud Pass and Hot Sulphur Springs and was likely a rest stop for passengers. There is an adjacent barn that was used for resting the horses. Both buildings are in very poor condition and will likely not remain standing more than a few years.
