We were visiting Old Faithful in Yellowstone NP during the full moon phase in January 2014, and captured an eruption with the full moon illuminating the steam plume. You can see some stars in the sky and even a part of the constellation Orion. Shot with Canon 5D Mark III, with Canon 24-105 lens, at 24mm. Exposure, 1/2 sec. f/4, with ISO 5000. Hand held.
