This photograph was taken early in the morning in Osage County, Oklahoma. The sun was just peaking over the horizon and the colors were just brilliant. The photograph was taken with a Nikon D600 using a Nikkor 35 mm lens at 0.4 sec, f/8, ISO 200. To balance the sky with the foreground I used a graduated ND filter. Saturation and contrast adjustments were done using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC and I used Alien Skin Exposure 5 to give it a film like-quality.
